There are several small "ribbon" connectors that can come loose very easily. They look like a flat ribbon like piece of plastic with a hard plastic piece on the end. They come out really easy. just look around

This is a common problem on the early year G35s and also on Infiniti/Bose head decks in general.
The stereo can be removed and sent to an electronics repair shop who can replace the damaged components, or you can go with an aftermarket solution.
I believe this problem has somethind to do with the laser going bad, but I could be wrong. I've seen this on numerous Maximas and I30s as well as G35s.
had the same problem, it's a recurring problem w/G35 but Infinity will make you pay for the replacement (google it to see how many others have the issue)
its a very common problem with g35 in dash clarion cd changer head units. a small plastic gear gets worn or brakes and wont eject or change cds. you need a new one, should be covered under your warranty.
This is a stereo we see in shop for repair on a regular basis, see www.carstereohelp.com for repair. However, I have one suggestion before thinking of repair. Disconnect one of the main car battery terminals for several minutes. This is much easier then removing and reinstalling the stereo in this car. This may act as a reset and bring the changer back. Otherwise, repair is needed.
