Choose a secure trading option like PayPal. I would recommend you to join SaleHoo. It's a wonderful platform for new businesses. You will learn all the basics of trading, find trusted drop shipping service and whole sellers.

First at all, you definitely need to create a seller account on eBay, during the one-time process of creating a seller account, you'll confirm the accuracy of your personal information, provide information to confirm your phone number, select an automatic payment method for paying seller fees and reimbursements for claims under eBay's Buyer Protection Policy. See more : Creating a Seller accounts

For most categories, you need to offer at least one electronic payment or Internet merchant credit card option. This provides a fast and secure transaction for you and the buyer. When a buyer clicks the Pay Now button in My eBay, the listing, or email notification, they pay you immediately and the payment is processed through the option you've chosen. You receive an email telling you you've been paid and you can ship the item.

You can also offer payment upon pickup. Payment by personal check, cashier's check, bank-to-bank transfers, or money order isn't allowed for most eBay purchases.

Hi,

Here are the things that you need to do before you can start selling on eBay
1. you need to register an ebay account
2. you need to have a mobile or landphone
3. you need to have a payment method, usually credit card, paypal or bank account

once you have an ebay account, then you can start by clicking the sell link on the upper right, fill up the form to create your listing and on the last page after you click continue you will be asked to create your selling account. you will need to fill up the information and your phone number should be updated. you will be asked to place a call and you will receive a four digit pin. if you are not getting it, you need to use a different phone. ebay customer support will not give you one because it's automated by the system.

once you verify your selling account, you will then need to put your payment method on file or what is called APM. it will be the funding source where ebay will get the fees.

once you sold an item, your buyers will pay you with what you place in your listing, usually it's paypal if you don't have a merchant account.

you can go to www.paypal.com to register an account. you need to verify it with a bank account so that you can't get low selling limit. then once you have a paypal account you can then link it your ebay account. make sure that your ebay account's email address is the same with your paypal account email address.

well there willl be lots of things to learn and i hope this helps you a bit. you may visit the forums and bulletin boards for more info and visit the help pages of ebay.

happy selling!

Seller not shipping item after payment

If you don't receive an item you paid for, you can receive a refund of the full purchase price plus original shipping on eligible purchases through the eBay resolution process.

Prior to that contact the seller and try to make conversation and solve the issue as these things may occur when selling online. But of coarse, if you cannot work things out you have the option of opening a case by going to the resolution center. Then a few questions will be asked from you and the seller will be contacted. If the seller doesn't make things right, eBay will review the case. If you didn't receive an item you paid for, you'll usually receive a full refund plus original shipping costs.
