Question about Pioneer VSX-815-K Receiver
I cant get the reciever to power on. no standby led or relay click when i apply 120v. I seen that another person had the same issue. i have tried to troubleshoot the power supply circuitry, but without the schematics, well its a **** shoot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have the same problem. my sandby light is on but my receiver will not turn on! I checked my power going into the power supply board that was good. But i do not have power going to the transformer or the receptacle. And both of my fuses r good. check ur fuses and go from there . If u know how to get a power supply. please let me know.

have you fixed it already?
I have the same receiver with the same problem as yours.
I found the fault in the voltage selector rotary switch. I'm refering to the round voltage selector switch not the other one, because you'll notice that there are 2 voltage selector switches at the back. The lock was broken so it couldn't switch the primary terminals of the main transformer.
Basically this amp has 2 power transformer, the small standby traffo and the large main traffo.
Try to press that round switch and press the front panel power switch. If it goes ON, then fix the center lock of that round switch.
Hope it helps.
