Question about Samsung HL-R6167W 61" HDTV
I have replaced the bulb, colorwheel, and ballast...unless they are defective parts they all were purchased brand new from partsearch.bestbuy.com. At first my TV went out one day and then after many tries it finally booted up, but now it doesn't boot up to show anything at all. It starts the fans and the light starts to come on, but then it shuts down and restarts 2 more times before it shows on the indicator that it has something to do with the lightbulb as it shows a lightbulb on the front status indicator. Its been out for almost a year and I haven't had the money or time to get it fixed. I paid money for the new parts and they didn't fix it so now I have no idea where to go from here...It sucks having such a nice TV yet it not work =(
Please if you can help I would appreciate it greatly! Thanks!!
Did you check to see if the small micro switch near the lamp is not in the "off" position as this may cause the symptom that you have desccribed
