Hi i have e problem with my laptop when i turn on the computer star to make a noisy.

How do restore my favorites


click on start then computer then double click on the "C" drive then open the folders then double click on documents and settings then select the name on your pc if its Mike or something like that then you will see a star right click on that then send to a usb flsh drive or cd or dvd then when you want to reinstall them follow the same steps except when you reach the star right click on you usb flash drive then send to then the star or favourites hope this helps ..if you didnt do that already then you have to find your favourites again if you did a fulll reinstall

Sounds like your keyboard drive is not set right. Do you have a special keyboard with programmable functions? Try changing your keyboard driver. Google your keyboard model + drivers and see if one comes up you can download. Then replace current driver and see if that resolves your issue. It's not a laptop is it? If so, that's another matter.

Computer seens to be on (noisy) but no power button light


Hi,

Might be youe Power Button LED is faulty or not connected with in in the motherboard.If system getting noisy then might be any wire is touching with CPU Fan .IF its given a beep sound with a interval of time then first re-insert the RAM chip .if still issue then replace RAM with goods one .If still facing same issue then re-connect keyboard & Mouse again.if still issue then Problem with Motherboard.its faulty.

Depends on which fan you are referring to, the case fan or the CPU heatsink and fan? Either can be purchased from a reputable computer centre or online.

Make sure you tell them the make and model to ensure they give you the right one!

Hi! the cd slot it not being recognized by the comp. i tried putting in a cd but it is not being shown?


HI I have had this problem before so restart computer goto star computer and see if dvd drive there
if not goto start/ accessories/system tools/system restore /
goto earlyest restore point/ should work/

My IBM 8183 automatically turn off while i turning it on!!


this is standard on most IBMs, when they are setup in the bios to not turn on after powerloss. you must wait for the on, then off to occur, then you can turn it on. The fan in the computer is probably loose, or possibly old, if not its normal.

My computer laptop makes is noisy while operating and gets so hot that i cant hold it after a short time having it turned on.


put extra fan for cooling also check your ram .may be there is heatting event shut down the cpu.
also check your harddisk.go to run type there "chkdsk /r" this command recoverd the harddisk if it has some bad issue.
