Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Sorry, thought I was supposed to rate you each time I tried something new .
I tried unplugging printer from computer, and replugged, etc
I have been on line with hp installing printer software from their site in hopes it woudl be fixed ( thinking my disk was corrupt?) Anyway nothing yet.
Maybe I will simpoly unplug EVERYTHING and replug...hoping I don't screw it up worse than it is now.
Its possible that the installation had an error while online and the CD.
Go to control panel then select add/remove programs and make sure that all instances of yiour HP printer software is removed. Remove the printer from your computer. After that shut down the computer and then turn it back on. Put the CD in the computer and then run the CD and follow the directions. It should be the one to tell you when to plug in the printer. if in case it gives an error at the end with it not finding the printer. Dont uninstall the software just look for anything that has a question mark or exclamation point in the device manager. if so right click on that and hit update driver but make sure the CD is in the drive.

The problem is the Printhead. The ink has dried up and therefore does not print. If you want to save the printer for about $15-20 there is solution that I bought that supposedly unclogges dried up printheads, I have NOT tried it yet, but being in the field it's just a matter of time. E-mail me back in case you have not thrown out the printer yet.
