Question about Kenmore 73502 / 73504 / 73509 Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
We have a Kenmore bottom mount refrigerator. The freezer is cold but not the refrigerator. The compressor was check and fan motor replaced but it still doesn't work. We did the diagnostic test to make sure the damper was open and that was ok. We think the problem is that what ever controls the fan motor isn't turning the fan motor on. Can you tell us what to check?
If the evaporator is clogged with ice, then you have a defrost problem.
check the defrost heater and the bi-metal .
to answer your question what controls the fan then it is the module that controls the fan.
you said you have diagnostic to test the damper then there should be a procedure also to test the evaporator fan motor.
why don't you try it..
