Sadly there is no way to reset the ink level once a cartridge has been refilled. However your printer will continue to let you print until it believes the ink cartridge is physically empty. Once it reaches this point printing will stop and you will receive an error message asking for a prompt from you. To bypass this message simple hold down the resume button for 5 seconds and printing will continue.
More information on the resume button and continuing to print can be found here: http://www.refreshcartridges.co.uk/igloo/the-infamous-canon-resumestopreset-button/
maybe it is not installed properly..by the way where do you purchase your cartridge..is it brand new or just a refill???if that is a refill maybe the sensors are damage..if brand new..check if you have some spilled ink inside...you need to clean it and try to run test using your printer troubleshooter
if it is a lexmark you have to buy new cartridges because the print heads most likely are all used up kaput. actually no matter what brand the heads are gunked up. and do not soak heads in water or solvent of any kind it will make them a lot worse
remove the new black cartridge and then insert it once again. push down a little more firmly this time. If it still doesn't know you inserted the new ink unplug the printer wait two minutes and plug it in again.
Hi , If ink indicate no ink replace with genuine cartridge , check also paper loaded and something struck inside the loading tray clean it try again printing.
I HAVE REFILL, STILL CANNOT PRINT AND CONTINUING BLINKING
