I was locked out on my g1 htc phone..i lost my net connection on my phone...cant use it cause its asking me to sign on to my Google acct before i can go to use it again..how will i get back its connection again? cant no longer use my phone now!

Please contact the service provider and check if your connection is active for net access and the codes will be send to you after the connection is verified.

Adding a Google account to your phone is optional, but highly recommended, and necessary in order to access the Android Marketplace. If you have a Gmail account, use your sign-in for this, otherwise sign up for a Google account at https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount

You will need to reset the device.

1. Power off the G1
2. Hold Home Key + End key for 20 seconds or until you see a "triangle with an exclamation point and a picture of the G1"
3. Open the QWERTY keyboard and hit Alt+W
4. Restored!

• 1. Side out the Keyboard / Open Left Hand side Notch to unlock Battery Panel.
  
• 2. Insert TMobile SIM Card and Battery.
  
• 3. Press MENU Button Constantly and Switch the Phone using Red Talk End / Power Button but do not Release the Menu Key.
• 4. This will put on the Phone in Safe Mode.
• 5. Press to Emergency Dial Button, Windows dial *#06# and this will show IMEI Number: note it down and also Recheck IMEI with Box.

• 7. Now Return to main Screen and Press MENU Button this Will popup APN Button, Just Press it.

• 9. Remember to put Right MCC (Mobile Country Code), and MNC Mobile Network Code, G1 Matches SIM card Data of MCC / MNC with these Setting and then try to use that. Settings.

• 10. Now Switch off the Phone and Wait for Unlock codes.
• 11. Insert the Non T-Mobile SIM Card which you intend to use it with G1 and switch G1 on. (Your SIM must have
  Data plan / GPRS Activated so G1 will able to contact google.com for Activation)
  
• 12. HTC G1 will ask for Unlock Codes. Type unlock code carefully, typing wrong code thrice may make Phone Hardware Locked.
• 13. Once Unlocked your GPRS / EDGE / 3G Data Service will be active as per APN Setting we did before.
• 14. Type Google User name / Password in Signing Window and this will Activate the Unlock G1 Device on your SIM Card.
• 15. Make other remaining Data Setting like MMS / Home Page / Port to Active other Data Service

One method of doing this is to set up your gmail account on a computer, and then when you load the G1, choose the option of "Sign In" instead of creating an account on the phone.

you need to do a factory reset that way you can sync to your acct on google. settings/sdstorage scroll down to reset to factory settings

Sorry, I don't think there's any way to use the G1 without internet. When you log in it has to connect with the google servers to check your password etc. Maybe you could try using a friend's simcard to sign in, and then turn the phone off and switch simcards? It might work! Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I need more clarification for this problem. From which OS you are accessing your account.
