Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
I have a netgear set up for my pc and laptop but the wireless adaptor on the back of the xbox is constantly red and comes up in the xbox live connection test as not connected, any ideas.
The blinking red light shows when your Xbox gets more heat. The red light blinks until the console cools down. so, turn off your device for quite some time. also, remember that move your console to an open, well-ventilated area this will reduce over-heated of the console.
If you using a wireless connection, try the below steps and getting connected
1.First, connect your Xbox 360 wireless adapter to your Xbox360.you can plug in the adapter into the USB port which is located at the back of the Xbox360
2.Turn on your Xbox 360 now and press the guide button to open the Xbox 360 menu. Guide button is located at the center of Xbox 360 controller
3.Go to the system settings and choose the Network settings option.
4.Now select the wireless network from the list of available connection types.
5.SSID is your wireless network name and will be listed once your Xbox 360 detects the signal. If your router is not properly configured, you will not be able to see your wireless network name.
6.Enter your wireless network username and password to get connected to the network.
7.Select the option, Test Xbox live connection now and your console will be automatically connected to Xbox live.
