Question about HP Pavilion zd8000 Notebook
I was using my laptop and i went home from work and unplugged the laptop from the wall, got home plugged it back in and when i went to turn it on it would come on for 3 secs and the turn off then turn back on then turn off. over and over it would do this. What should i do?
Try the steps listed below :
1. Disconnect the AC Adapter.
2. Remove the Battery.
Note : Please see that there are no external devices or cables connected to the Notebook.
3. Hold the Power button down for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
4. Reconnect the AC adapter and do NOT connect the battery now.
5. Turn on the Notebook power
If the issue persists, try these steps to reset the BIOS to its defaults :
Start or restart the Notebook and start tapping the F10 Key which will take you to the BIOS setup window.
In this, press the F10 Key again to set the settings to its default and exit the BIOS setup screen.
If the issue still persists, make sure that the Power adapter of the notebook is correctly pluged into the Notebook.
Hope this helps...
