The check filter light will not go off even after I have cleaned the filter numerous times; and now occasionally the unit wil rapidly shut it self on and off repeatedly (again the check filter light is constantly on) what else can I do since it is obviously not the filter being dirty. Any idea what the problem is?

Apparently, the unit is not recognizing the filter change. So, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit. Wait 15 minutes and plug it back in. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. Hopefully, during that 15 minute timeout, the electronics reset themselves and reverted back to the original factory settings and the change filter light is now, OFF.

Hope this helps you.

Why does my Vacuum shut off!

Has this happened numerous times? If so, and the filters (all filters) are thoroughly cleaned then its possible the thermal protection circuit could be worn out in the motor. If not, it could be an assortment of other issues. Could you please provide more info?

I just got a 1.5 TB WD ext HD. It blinks evenly & slowly when the computer is sleeping. It blinks rapidly when the computer is awakened, & becomes solid during the time the computer is...

Seems perfectly normal, the slow blink while sleeping shows you that it is active but not in use (witched off but immediately available) The rapid blinking is the machine accessing the disk and the constant light means it has power but not connected. The occasional blink is probably the HDD parking the reading head or shutting down the disk or both.
Nothing to worry about.

On the end of your opener where the small gray antenna is you will find an LED that flashes rapidly when you use your remote. When you release your remote it should stop flashing rapidly and just occasionally flash. See if this continues to flash rapidly while the bulb is on and your remotes are inoperative. If it does, remove the bulb and do the same thing. I have a feeling your light bulb is radiating.

Eiki lc-nb3s projector... fan comes on but no lamp then fan shuts down after about 5 seconds. Green "Ready" light and Red "Lamp" light are on... Have tried the reset button and cleaning the filter... no...

Please check on of these solutions :

1:Remove the lamp from the projector. Ensure that it has no cracks, discoloration or "smoky" appearance.

2:Try removing and reseating the lamp, or to try another lamp.

3:Reset your lamp timer. Most projectors have no way of knowing if you physically have replaced your lamp. They rely on the user resetting the lamp timer

4:Pull the lamp back out of the unit, give is a brisk shake and reseat the lamp. Occasionally there is some buildup on the lamp contacts or filament during manufacturing.

5:Are the input and output vents blocked or obstructed in any way?

6:Are the filters dirty or clogged? Most manufacturers will recommend filter cleaning on a monthly basis depending on usage

7:Remove any extension cords, power strips and/or surge suppressors. Many current model projectors will not even try to ignite the lamp if they detect drops or fluctuation in voltage supplied to the unit. This is a safety feature to reduce stress on the lamp.

Door wil not open after self-cleaning cycle.Code

Unplug the unit or shut off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Plug the unit back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door.
or
Set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for 15 minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door.
If these procedures fail to correct the condition, the lock must usually be accessed and moved manually to open the door.
Some model ovens require the oven door to be manually unlatched before the controls are returned to the OFF position or else the door may not be able to be unlocked. Check the owner's manual for proper operating procedures.

How do I use the self-cleaning option

According to the manual for IS series Mr. Coffee for programmable models:
1. Prepare one batch of Mr. Coffee coffeemaker cleaner. Pour the mixture into the water reservoir. Remove the water filtration disk from the machine.
4 cups or 20 oz. of undiluted, white household vinegar may be used as a substitute for the cleaner.
2. Place an empty paper filter or permanent filter into the filter basket and close.
3. Place the empty decanter back in the unit, centered on the warmer plate.
4. Press SELECT button until the red CLEAN indicator light is illuminated. For your convenience the cleaning cycle is automatic. The entire cycle will take 45-60 min to complete. During the cleaning your coffeemaker will:
  • Slow brew approx. 3 cups of cleaning solution.
  • Pause for 30 min (the CLEAN light will remain on to alert you that the process is active). At the end of the pause period your coffeemaker will beep.
  • After 30 mins your coffeemaker will brew the remainder of the cleaning solution.
  • When complete, the CLEAN light will turn off and your coffeemaker will automatically beep and shut off.
5.Discard the cleaning solution and rinse the decanter thoroughly with clean water.
6. Fill the water reservoir with clean fresh water.
7. Place the empty decanter back on the coffeemaker, centered on the warmer plate.
8. Remove and discard the filter used during the cleaning cycle and replace it with a fresh paper filter. If a permanent filter was used during cleaning, remove it and rinse it thoroughly before replacing it in the filter basket.
9.Begin brewing and allow the full brew cycle to complete.
Repeat steps 6-9 one more time.
