My modeal 580.752000 pressurewasher runs great but as soon as there is a load on motor [pull triger on spray head] motor stalls

clean and carry pressure washer, starts and idles ok. As soon as I squeeze the trigger sprayer it dies. Was working great until last week, engine seems noiser now. Is pressure head loading down the engine? I may have to disconnect the pressure head from engine to check under load.

Be careful, sound like the sealed bearing between the motor and pump may be bad. If it gets hard to crank or pull start then the spline bearing are shot

I cant lift trhe bottom aggitate plate in my hmwm8000 i have removed the cap and phillips head screw how tov lift the plate?

there should be a bolt holding aggitator on spines,if not try grabbing aggitator and pulling up while rocking aggitator back and forth it will require a great amount of force to remove aggitator fron splined shaft, also so penatrating spray may help sprayed on splined shaft. It also may need to be cleaned around splined shaft to clean built up soap build up. also a haet gun or a hair dryer on high heat on top of aggitator shaft when trying to remove may help!

The agitator has stopped working. The motor runs and there is a clicking noise from the center of the machine. What would cause this?

its the drive coupling between the motor and transmission, you need to remove and lay back the control panel, then under there are 2 brass colored clips that snap out, then pull the outer cover toward you and in here you need to remove 2 clips off the pump and set aside, then 2 hex head screws and 2 more clips and pull out motor toward you, then the drive coupler is there and you will see the teeth will be broken off, this is your clicking sound

Kenmore 44102 front load washer will not spin. the belt is good, I remove the belt and the motor sill does not run in spin cycle.

It appears your motor/motor controller has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Speed Queen Model SWT220WA 3/4 filled with water, loud buzzing sound, stopped.

motor stalled
take off the belt and see if it will run

if it wont run could be timer or motor

if it runs cold be a stuck gearbox

Maytag Neptune washer front load- Can't open the door

Take out the bleach and softener tray (it just lifts out, angle it a little) and unscrew the 4 bezel screws and take out the bezel. You will find a red or green plastic pull line that is supposed to release the door. You may have to "man-handle" the door a bit and pull hard on the line before it will release. Once you work on the door release mechanism (I had to replace the wax motor again, even though it was the "upgrade" black plunger type) I recommend shooting a little silicon spray on the white plastic moving parts of the locking mechanism to get them to move more easily.
This is true on a Maytag Neptune MAH3000AWW front loading washer. Mine is 11 years old, and had the initial wax motor work done at 7 years.

Our Whirlpool washer won't drain

this machine has the pump directly atached to the pump assy, so if the motor is runnning your pump will drain water. more likely is that when you put the unit back together perhaps you didnt plug the lid switch assembly bak in. if there is no lid switch detected the unit will not drain or spin and when it gets to that mode it will simply stall out. no noise or anything. will fill, agitate but not spin and/or drain/ check the lid switch!

Motor will not spin both ways

Starts fine then stalls, I would check the belt, gear case and also for a seized pump bearing. Pull the machine out and remove the access panel with a 5/16 socket and put it into spin, try to watch as you start the cycle. Then if you don't see any problems tilt the machine back and examine the belt for wear, glazing, cracks and rotate the belt to find any frozen items, gear case and pump.

Washer will fill, drain, and run a complete cycle but will not agitate or spin

sounds like the motor control board is bad. you could test the motor to see if it ohms out ok, the diagram has the readings. The diagram should be on the side panel (inside the cabinet) on the lt side in a brown envelope.

Won't spin - belt fine!

I had the same problem with my Bosch 2060, which is almost 6yrs old. After opening the back of the washer and inspecting, belt looked good and not loose. Spending several hrs on net looking for postings, most thinking replacement of motor brushes is the solution. Someone posted that the connector on the right side of motor (located under the tub) to the right side could be loose. I pushed on the connector to make sure it was tight. Powered up and went to spin cycle and was greatly relieved that washer began to spin. Thanks for whoever posted this simple fix.
