Question about Digital Cameras

5 Answers

I have a Kodak Easy Share M853 which I love. However, when I connect it to my computer, it takes the pictures that I have taken directly to my Kodak Easy Share account on line. This is really handy; however, I would like to have the pictures right on my desktop also. And that is the problem that I do not know how to solve.

I accept the solution, but I haven't really made it work yet. But I will keep trying! Thanks!

Hi-

From the lodak easy share account you can copy the pictures or select the ones you want to send to your desktop, just higlight them and right click then choose copy and from desktop you can create a folder then paste it in.

From Your Computer Step1 Double click the "Kodak EasyShare" icon on your computer's desktop.

Step2 Select "Add Photos" in the top left corner of the screen.

Step3 Choose the folder on the computer where the pictures are currently stored.

Step4 Click the plus sign next to the folder to expand it and see its contents. The photos will appear in a box to the right of the folder names.

Step5 Find and select the photos you want to upload to desktop

Step6 Hold down the "Control" key to select multiple photos in a specific folder with your mouse.

Step7 Click the "Add Pictures" button when you are finished making your selections in each folder. You'll have to upload the contents of one folder before selecting pictures from another folder.

Step8 View your uploaded photos

or

From a Digital Camera Step1 Connect the provided USB cord to the camera and to your computer's USB port. Turn the camera on to enable it to read the hardware information for a few moments.

Step2 Select "Quick Setup" when prompted and click "Next."

Step3 Choose to "Synchronize" your software for optimal results.

Step4 Click "Finish."

Step5 Decide if you want the program to remove the photos from your camera when they are transferred to your Kodak EasyShare software.

Step6 Determine if you want to scan the photos on your camera and pick the ones to transfer ("Select and Transfer"), or if you want the software to automatically "Transfer All." Click the corresponding button.

Step7 Pick which photos you want uploaded if you chose the "Select and Transfer" option.then choose desktop or my picture folder

If you want to get the pictures from your camera and going to be save on your computer, just connect the camera to a USb port on your computer and its should detect it automatically then after that you can already get the pictures from the camera..

Hope that helps.........

There should be an option in the EasyShare online album to save them to the PC - you may have to click on the picture first though. If not, you can right-click on the picture and choose the Save option.

When you have removed all the pictures on the card next time, format the card. this will clear out all the pesky little bits that haven't been erased yet. This should speed up the card again.

hi, just go to service center and tell what is happen.error you got is only adjustment or the lens was stuck up maybe because of impact from the lens while you taking picture.cleaning and adjustment charges are cheap or sometimes they will give free of charge.

thank you

Can not email picture from easyshare camera

It is not possible to email directly from the camera.

If you're experiencing emailing difficulties directly from the Easy Share Software:

Please do a Clean Install on the software:
Please follow the instructions:
  1. Uninstall Easy Share software:
  2. Select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs.
For Windows XP operating systems, select Start > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs.
  3. Select Kodak Easy Share software.
  4. Select Remove (or select Change, and then select Remove).
  5. Run the Clear utility:
  6. Visit the CLEAR Utility for Kodak Easy Share software Web page at www.kodak.com/go/clear
  7. Click the Download button, and then follow the on-screen prompts.
  8. After restarting your computer, visit the Kodak Easy Share software Web page at www.kodak.com/go/easysharesw and install the latest version of Easy Share software.

Pictures are pink with lines

The camera is a wonderful Kodak product and takes beautiful 8.5 Megapixel photographs. When you save the pictures to an SD card, you must at some point remove them digitally from the card.
Either by linking it to the USB cable and going from there to your PC, OR by removing the SD card from the camera and inserting it into an SD card slot in your computer, printer, or card reader. Occasionally the card readers such as the ones in your PC, printer, or card reader devices do not connect properly and will only transfer part of the data, resulting in pink ugly lined photographs. This problem can be fixed by using the USB cable instead of the built in card readers in your other devices.
