I have a washer dryer (Classix) with both a 600 and 1200 spin - except the 1200 spin is not working any more so that at the end of the cycle I am getting on the 600 spin.

Hi davidandsall,

Before it can Spin (The last part of any cycle), it would need to drain the water first. Your machine is stock on that particular position, most likely because of a clog in the Drain Filter compartment.
You will need to clean it.

Please follow my below Tip on how to do it:

ACCESS, DRAIN & CLEAN THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER

Washer won't spin

Check the washer motor. Make sure that the motor is getting correct voltage and is working and spinning when you turn it on. It sounds like the motor is bad. You can remove the back cover to get to the motor to check it out

I had to have a repairman out for this problem, but before I realized that the clothes were still too wet for the dryer, my dryer actually got too hot and burned a blouse...We all have a lot to learn about these newer machines. I suggest a repairman. I wish I could help you more.

i think you will find the carbon brushes r worn out they r mounted on the side of the motor held on by 2 5.5mm nuts or 2 screws 1 brush on each side of the motor switch off at the mains b4 you start work good luck
