Question about HP LaserJet 1300 Printer
Replaced fuser film and yellow attention light just blinks no motor or gears turn. Did the engine test and triped interlock and front door switch nothing will turn. The only thing not sure of is exit sensor and the hp diagram poorly shows how it goes in. Ive been fixing printers for years but this has me stumped. HElP!!!!!!!
My guess is that the wire from the photocell at the rear of the fuser (exit sensor) is not seated properly. The connector on the board side also has a nasty habit of the pins pushing down into the board in the connector. Put check the connections carefully from the exit sensor to the main boad. If it has pushed down, it can be pulled back up without ill effects using a small pair of hemostats..
Let me know what you find. Hope that helps you.
