Where can in get a set of exhaust/intake hoses for a danby dpac120068 air conditioner

Is there a reason not to just go to the Danby site? Support Danby includes phone support, email and "Find Parts" Even if their source is out you should at least be able to find the correct part number, then Google Danby (part number).
You could also look to see if generic flexible vinyl tubing/hose can be substituted. It's doubtful that Danby created their own hoses.

I have a PACRWC-HP. We only use it for short periods during Seattle summers. Now in it's third year, it does not evaporate the water filling the small overload every hour. Can it be fixed or should...

Jerry, Windchaser has been out of business for about 5 or 6 months. So, if it requires parts to fix the problem, it will difficult to find them. But, before you properly scrap the unit, check several of the things, that may be causing the problem.

1. The air intake filter may be dirty or clogged. Remove and clean thoroughly, if necessary.

2. The exhaust hose may be drooping from the unit to the window outlet. This allows condensation
to accumulate in the hose, rather than exhaust out the window.

3. Obstruction in exhaust hose will cause the same thing as in # 2. Remove the hose check & clear
any obstructions, as necessary.

I hope this has helped you troubleshoot, find and solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have a Haier Commercial Cool air conditioner, model CPRD12XC7, 12,000 BTU that has 2 hoses off the back and is made to be vented thru a window. I want to install it in a closet with no windows. Can I...

Mark, the two hoses serve different functions (Fresh Air Intake & Hot Air Exhaust). Therefore, they would have to remain separate. Also, Haier does not recommend extending the length of the hoses, to accommodate a specific change in installation. And yes, they can be vented through a wall to the outside. But, you would need to use something similar to a clothes dryer vent termination on the outside. Most exterior dryer vent terminations have insect screening and a flap door that opens when air from the dryer pushes it open. This would be fine for the exhaust hose, but not the Air Intake Hose. I guess if you could carefully remove the flap door. it could be used on the Air Intake hose. Also, keep in mind that the unit requires a minimum of one foot air space clearance off the back of the unit, for proper air circulation around the unit. If clothes will be hanging in this closet, that may present an air circulation issue.

Hope this helped you, please let me know. Thanks.

Air intake via hose & window or intake from room only?

Hello artrey3 The answer is yes, BUT the unit will be exausting room/basement air outside ruining any efficency the unit is rated for. Also you will need makeup/fresh air in the basement. The unit exausting air can put the basement in a vacuum/negitive pressure pulling in air from the chimney!

There is a black tubing where the exhaust hose goes therefore i can not get the exhaust hose on.what is this black hose for? do i have to reroute this?

There is no exhaust hose on a A/C unit. That black hose, or seal tight, has wires in it. Are you talking about the hose from the drain pan. If that is what you are talking about. Put a water hose on the drain and blow out the blockage. make sure the drain hose by the condensor outside is not barried. Put a 90% fitting on the end of the out side drain hose faceing up, to keep water in it to keep out critters.

Make sure the exhaust hose isn't longer than the maximum allowed and is not kinked, turned too many times (bends) and is the right diameter as specified in the manual. It sounds like the unit is going off on high head pressure.

If at all possible, change the exhaust hose to a smooth type rather than the corrogated hose that probably came with the unit. The less air restriction in the exhaust the better.

Seal any air leaks at the exhaust or discharge point.

Exhaust hose is too short need extention for it to

Hello. I can help you. For safety use a piece of galvanized duct pipe, of the correct diameter and clamps. These are common items available at most any hardware store.

Adding on with more plastic hose is a fire hazard.
