Question about Fuji FinePix 1400 Zoom Digital Camera
My Dad was given a finepix 1400 used camera, just the camera. No instruction manual cable software etc. I have figured everything out except whether or not there is a backup battery in the camera (holds date settings etc) when the 4 AA's are removed. I have not found it if there is one. Please give info about this and if there is an instruction manual anywhere to be had. I have checked Fuji service website and none available there. The battery info is more important though. Anyone wishing to help can send info to e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org

No battery back-up. There is a capacitor that stores a bit of charge. This allows you to replace the batteries and still keep the date/time setting. Leaving the camera without batteries for 10 minutes will completely drain the capacitors. This will cause the date/time to reset.
