What connection do I use to connect a sony blue ray disc to on a Yamaha htr 6030 reciever to play music cd's

You said "...on reciever cd out in the audio box..." but it should the reciever IN that you connect to. Also is the BlueRay player capable of playing CD's ? When you press play on the sony remote, do the seconds start counting on the screen ? (ie: is it playing, but no sound is coming out?)

What disc should i use to burn, on teac rw-cd22 cd recorder

You have to use blank CD-R Audio or CD-R Music CD's in a home CD recorder. It will not record on data disc media but it will play almost any CD with CD Audio music on it.

I need to record some music on a CD and I was wondering what kind of CD I need to get to record music on. Will a CD-R work for this?

If you're using a consumer home CD-R recorder it will require you to use CDR-Music or CDR-Audio blank media. A PC will use any recordable CD.

Are you supposed to be able to listen w/ all 5 speakers if you are playing just music (cd, ipods, etc)? That is if the receiver is connected properly (or just 3)

For cds the audio is recorded in just right and left channel, and the center balances it out. You can force it to play out of more speakers by switching the AUDIO MODE of the receiver to something like Pro Logic II, this takes the 2 channels and then forces them to all channels. This is actually not recommended though, it is meant to sound a certain way and forcing it out of all speakers doesn't give you the true sound. But if you just want it to come out of all 5 it is definitely possibly, just switch the audio mode on the receiver. If you need more information on this please respond back to my answer here and I can help more.

Please make sure you rate my answer 4 thumbs up, it is extremely important to me. I would be forever grateful if you could do so. If you need more help on this question please just respond to my answer here and I will get right back to you.

Thanks
Tim

Kenwood RXD25 CD player intermitent??

Hi jenoss

Sounds like the unit has either a failing load belt to the cd drawer mechanism, not allowing the transport to fully load the cd. Give the unit a gentle tap just after the drawer closes and see if it resolves the problem.

OR a faulty spindle motor, you will have to take the lid off and after pressing play, give the disc a gentle "kickstart". If it then begins to run, then the motor is the problem.

If you find it is neither of these, get back to me here and I we shall go further

regards
Graeme
