I dropped two of my lenses and I thought everything was fine. But when I take the picture i can't tell what I'm focusing on. Also, when I take a picture my lens makes a squeaky/scratchy noise.

Lenses have precision mechanisms and alignment of lens elements. If damaged, you should have them serviced by factory authorized repair centers. A lens damaged due to falling or impact will not be covered by warranty - however if under warranty and the work is performed by an unauthorized party, the remainder of any warranty will likely be void.

If the lenses are Nikor or Nikon, you should check the Nikon Service and Repair page. You can get an estimate by providing the information requested on that page.

I chose an "AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f3.5-5.6 ED VR" (your lens may be different) and listed it as dropped an got an estimate of $199 for repair.

I hope this helps & good luck!
