Everytime I put my card in my computer and load all my music onto the card, it loads successfully. But when I put it back in my phone it only shows 6 songs on it out of about 250 I loaded on it. The card is a 2 gig so it is plenty big. I don't get it. I have formatted the card to the phone 3 times! My Motorola was pretty easy. I put the memory into the phone, followed the directions to format the Micro SD, then copied MP3 files into the My Music folder from my desktop machine.

For you computer to communicate with your phone directly you have to load the phone drivers into your computer. Do you not have the CD for the phone? I an assuming that you have a micro SD
card in your phone in which case just take out the card, plug it onto computer and copy music directly to card using your current file manager.
if you are having problems connecting to your phone you can install mp3s onto external Mico SD card and plug it into camera, or down load music downloader pro and find any song you like and down load it! or you can connect your phone setup as an external hdd.
#1. you will need to install Motorola phone tools on the laptop.You can get it from www.modmymoto.com. #2. i can guide you through the prossess of connecting it through a usb cable, and can suggest other options that will enable you to get music onto your phone if this fails.
You cannot put music strait onto youe phone from the cd first it needs to be ripped onto your computer, and converted into an mp3 file so that the phone can play this. if you cannot do this, then reply to this solution, or post it as another question.

turn on your phone and pc and plug the cable into both
look on the phone screen to see if it is asking anything. if it asks what mode you wish to use, choose FILE TRANSFER.
depending on your computor different things may happen, but it should install automatically.
once this is done, your phone will act and appear on your computor the same a memory stick would.
to add music (or any other type of file) just got to my computor, double click on your phone, go to the music file, and simply paste the music you have ripped from your cd there

once you load the music to the phone, restart the phone than go to library and see if it says searching device or similar and it should load all of the songs in your phones memory.
Its a nightmare. Apple / Itunes make it hard for you to import their music onto any other device. itunes is not MP3 format. I am having the same problems. I will let you know if I manage to solve this and get my music onto my phone.
just get the software from the internet and the usb cable, or if u hav a memory card on usb mode (in phone settings) go on mass storage, and connect ur usb and it shud work if dat dunt work get a memory card adapter and conect it 2 ur laptop and send it 2 it hope this helps.
The max allowed limit (supposedly) for an SD mini card for a D600 is 1gb. Have you formatted your card? If so and you're still having this problem, the 2gb probably won't work.
