The memory is irrelevant when it comes to quality, what counts is what you set the camera for, how high resolution, how many megapixels. The different memory types hold different numbers of pictures. Seems the Comact Flash holds the most currently, they even have CF cards with hard drives in them. Smartmedia has never gotten very big, the CF holds a lot more and seems to be the type to shoot for, though the new smaller modules are attractive if you need a real small camera, again though you sacrifice size for quality and megapixels.

Not sure how to delete pics

if you want to delete all of it , you can FORMAT the memory card in the camera (go to menu and find FORMAT option ) ,or take the card out and either delete one by one or as a whole (by formatting it on your computer (you may need Memory Card Reader " THAT COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR MEMORY CARD...As an example of this unit pls visit the URL below....you can buy it any electronic Market too...

I uploaded pictures from my sony dsc-s650 last night onto my computer and i didnt know that it was going to completely erase them from my memory card. is it possible to get them back on there?
Hi,Unless you FORMATTED the memory card when it is in the camera thru your camera
MENU pictures should be there..
To find out that either connect the camera to computer or take the card out and insert the card reader slot of your laptop (if not you may need Memory Card Reader " THAT COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR MEMORY CARD.This card reader facilities TO DOWNLOAD YOUR PHOTOS/VIDEOS to PC too....As an example of this unit pls visit the URL below....you can buy it any electronic Market too..) and to see if the pictures are still there..if you have erased them and you still want to recover them you need to download a RECOVERY program to ypur PC.,If you need more help ,Let me know the result...

Minolta DiMAGE S304 memory cards will not format in [email protected] Tried 2 different cards - would not format either card.

Some cameras can not handle 2 GB and larger memory cards..I believe this could be the case for you..I am afraid if it does not FORMAT it ,you can not use it to take a picture either..
