SOURCE: Why is my projection dark and muddy compared to the brightness on my computer screen?

John here, customer advocate at Dell headquarters. If you can nvigate to the On Screen Display Menu, you should see an "all images" section on the main menu. There you will find brightness, contrast, color temp, white intensity, and gamma controls. You should be able to make adjustments from that menu to sharpen and brighten the image.

SOURCE: Polarview 211e

Go to:

System Preferences (you can get there by clicking on the Apple Menu in the top left corner) -> Displays -> Detect displays

After you click "Detect Displays" your G3 should automatically send the display image to your projector.

SOURCE: Half of monitor screen shows on the projector.

You will need to set your computer to the correct display properties.
This you can do by either going to presentation mode.
Alternatively,
on Window XP you can simply go on to your desktop and right click > go to properties>go to setting> press display 2 and set the screen resolution as per your projectors resolution and enjoy.
( for information: display1 is the resolution meant for your computer).

Please do rate this solution and Thanks for usinf FixYa!

I have 2 epson EX31 projectors in our sanctuary that run the same image from the MAC. (song lyrics, slides, etc) Recently I replaced a bulb in one...and since then...the "White" levels in the projecto

If uniformity of the images is important, I would reccommend replacing the second bulb on the other projector with the same bulb, from the same vendor as you did the first. It may be too difficult to match them up otherwise (assuming the first bulb you bought isn't defective).

I hope this helps,

EPSON PROJECTOR HDMI PORT IS NOT WORKING SUDDENLY?

My friend had this very same problem on Thursday Night, it was something that had nothing to do with the Connection but rather the FRONT SLIDE DOOR that shuts off the display. He had it open 7/8 of the way and all he got was a Light, when I opened the door all the way, it fixed his problem with his Projector and was able to do his presentation that evening... Good Luck

My mac book and epson projector doesn't show the signal

To my knowledge there are no video drivers to output video on a Mac USB port in the Mac OS system. There are however, devices that connect to the USB port that will give video out on Conventional (VGA, DVI, HDMI, etc) connectors.e.g. http://www.newertech.com/products/viddu2dvia.phpMost projectors connect via VGA - what Projector are you using?

You may have disconnected the projector while your laptop was about to go to sleep. Try (force) restarting the computer by holding down the power button for a few seconds, wait til it shuts down, then power-up again!

Problem hooking my macbook to the Powerlite 62c/82c the projector

For these types of projectors if you're planning to hook it up using you MacBook ;

You will need a converter ( from VGA to DVI )
Using the VGA cable that came with the unit when purchased ;

Connect the VGA cable on the back of the Projector and on the other of the cable you will connect the converter ( VGA TO DVI ) since for MAC systems it has DVI ports for monitors not VGA...

You can purchase the converter at any Mac store or any computer shop near you..
