Can you explain the problem a little better? were you using the clerk interrupt system? How did you normally sign one clerk off and the next one on?

It is most important to initialise correctly and set up using clerk interrupt. I have never seen that MAC code before. It looks very strange. there seems to be a password embedded in it for some reason. Anyway, it sounds right to have SRVCTL (service total) printing so you are probably nearly there. I find it strange that you are not using 0 CLK# to sign off. Normally you can not sign off correctly without it. try that first

Sins lest time I have reset the machine to times and now I can´t use the flat plu.
I cant get it, Isn´t it anywhere on the Internet a receipt over, for exemplar: store like ours
We just want to use all the flat plu, departments, and few plu. No taxes, no checks, no bills, no scanning, no printer, no nothing. I have been sitting her nearly hole summer every time after work until bedtime, tray to translate everything I could in Google translate. And that is not good, for example "compulsory" is translate as children school. If you now about somewhere I can find a page how can help me pleace let me now.

It sounds like you are using a manual that you do not understand then. These are dealer settings that you need to understand in order to program them. Most people would not attempt this level of programming. If you want to attempt it, it would pay to get the manual in your language so you can follow flag settings and MAC instructions. Guessing and copying other people's MAC codes is not ideal because there are country and model specific settings. I'm wondering if you are actually using the right manual. It should look like this:
    http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cas...

If you do not have the correct manual, you can't run through the Program 5 file structure and set all of the files correctly. Then you should have set the machine features tables in program 3. Once you have these set correctly, you perform key allocation and then program 2 text settings then program 1 pricing. There is nothing simple about setting up a complicated register such as this model - especially if you want extras such as clerk interrupt system. Without knowing your original settings from your dealer, I will only be guessing a lot of it.

Did you link the clerk secret numbers to interrupt buffers?

  • Anonymous Aug 14, 2011

no how do I do that?

  • Electroboy
    Electroboy Aug 14, 2011

It should be listed in the manager operation section. Have a look for linking clerk secret numbers to interrupt buffers. There is a clerk button method, but you are obviously using secret code logon so that will be the one you want

  • Anonymous Aug 15, 2011

It says MGR-check no. for interrupt (max. 6 digits) - clerk no. (4 digits) - x/date time - sub.
What is check no.? and clerk no. 4 digits 0001 ore 0107 ???

  • Anonymous Aug 15, 2011

what is secret code, and what is secret number?
It stand nothing about secret code in the manager operation section.

  • Electroboy
    Electroboy Aug 15, 2011

It depends how you have set your clerk secret codes. If you haven't changed the secret code, then it is the same as the clerk number. For the check number, you just select a check number that you want to save a clerk's current sales into. I would save into the same check number as the clerk number just to keep it simple

  • Anonymous Aug 15, 2011

so something like that 0000010001 for clerk no.1?

  • Electroboy
    Electroboy Aug 15, 2011

If you havent changed it, the default for clerk 1 is just 1. Clerk 2 is 2 etc

  • Anonymous Aug 15, 2011

you mean 11 1 for check and 1 for clerk?

  • Electroboy
    Electroboy Aug 15, 2011

I'd use check 1 for clerk 1, check 2 for clerk 2. Just single digits if you haven't changed the clerk secret code from the default one.

  • Anonymous Aug 16, 2011

now I have done that. and now I can use one clerk and as soon that I tray to use another clerk number the receipt comes out and it stands in the bottom SRVC TL ???' and I can not used cash bottom it just beebs....

  • Electroboy
    Electroboy Aug 16, 2011

It certainly sounds like it is working. You should be able to log clerks on and off and have the service total re-appear. If that isn't happening, then I am sorry but I can't think of anything else. I prefer to use tables instead of clerk overlap, so that is all the experience I have. Now I'm definitely going to stick with tables. they work well.

  • Anonymous Aug 16, 2011

    thanks for trying...
I have try, for so long time now and I did not really thing that I could do it. but I needed to give it a shot . you never know. Sorry for taking your time,I appreciate it :))) Regards her from Denmark. hafdís

I’m lock out of my register tk6500 I use to putting 1 clerk Now I have to push clerk first then 1 How do I get it back to putting 1 first then clerk

Not sure why pressing Clerk+1 is a problem, because that is the logical way to assign a clerk to the register.

Have a read through the manual. Make sure the key is in the right mode.

Casio tk t500

Hi. This is usually caused by two things. Firstly, the printer has a problem and cannot turn or the rotation sensing is at fault. Secondly, the IPL (operating system or firmware) of the machine has been lost and the machine now doesn't know how to be a cash register any more. Both of these problems can be fixed by a technician but are a bit much to fix yourself. The TKT500 is a good machine so it is worth getting a quote. Feel free to come back to me with their diagnosis if you want me to check if they are ripping you off.

It is called clerk name programming. Usually in the program 2 section of the manual. Run through the tables and find the memory numbers for the clerks. -------------------------------------------------

Connect casio tk-t500 to PC?

Hi.
Yes, special software, special Casio cable, then training. Not recommended unless you have a need to backup or edit huge amounts of data. If you have dreams of easy data entry, it isn't always the case. I find some tasks to be much easier and quicker on the register. See a dealer if you want more info.
