Re: SLIDESHOW function
You can play the images in your camera on a TV or save them to videotape by connecting the camera with the bundled Audio/Video cable. Power up the camera in the PLAYBACK Mode, press the OK/MENU button to open the menu and using the arrow keys toggle up to begin the SLIDESHOW.
You can even change the playback format in the MODE MENU. Press the OK/MENU button and using the right arrow key select the MODE MENU. Toggle down to SETUP, toggle right to enter the SETUP MENU and toggle up once to PLAYBACK SETUP. When you toggle right you will be offered four playback options: NORMAL, SLIDE, FADER and ZOOM. When selected you will get the following effects:
NORMAL - Each image instantaneously replaces the previous image.
SLIDE - The images are sequenced by sliding from right to left.
FADER - The images are sequenced via a lap dissolve.
ZOOM - The images are sequenced by zooming in to black and zooming out from black.

Six episodes in season two were shot on videotape because CBS felt that after season one, ratings didn't match the expense of production, and they thought that videotape would be less expensive to use. But, the quality wasn't as good, shootings could not be done on location, and four cameras had to be used at one time. So, ultimately it didn't save them money, and they returned to using film.

Youtube only accepts video formats like MP4, AVI, FLV, so you have to make a video slideshow.
To make a video slideshow, you can first make a PowerPoint slideshow with your Microsoft PowerPoint, if you are using PowerPoint 2010, you can save your slideshow to wmv video directly, if you are using PowerPoint 2007 or a lower PowerPoint version, you can use a powerpoint to video converter like
Moyea PPT to Video Converter http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/ppt-to-video/ Leawo PowerPoint to Video http://www.leawo.com/powerpoint-video-converter/
After the conversion, you can upload the video slideshow to youtube smoothly.
You must purchase an unlock code in order to burn a dvd... Something I did not know when I bought the program. After spend $80+ on the program I did not feel it appropriate to purchase an unlock code for another $15 or so. Be sure to save the unlock code somewhere in the event that you reload Photo Explosion onto another computer. Nova does not save them for you...
