Get an oven thermometer and measure the temperature in the oven to determine if it is at the correct temp or not. If not then there is an oven problem possibly the oven temp probe or the oven electronic controller. If the temp is correct then you are doing something wrong as a cook such as oven temp set too high or cooking for too long.
Good afternoon. F2 for hotpoint means oven temp sensor thinks oven exceeded 650 degrees .Did that happen? Probably not so have your sensor checked or replaced. It should be a probe device in oven back wall.

Unfortunately, the oven thermostat is non adjustable.
However, it is normal for oven temperatures to vary by + or - 10% of the setting.
This is acceptable, so to compensate, set the temp 10% less of the required temp setting.
Make sure you have the sensor fitted correctly inside the oven compartment
Make sure that the thermometer is accurate if you are checking the temperature with one.
Is it a gas or electric if it is gas take knob off usally in front where it says 150 degrees and up and if you look down the shaft you will see a little screw turn it counter clockwise to turn oven down if it is electric take knob off where it says 150 /250/etc... and look behind the knob in your hand it has 2 screws to adjust the oven temp.
its possible the water tank or tube is frozen up. try turning off the refrigerator and leaving the door open for about 10-15 minutes and see if it will start working again. if that works adj your temp settings to warm the fresh food section up just a little to prevent it from freezing again..
