Question about Cobra CP-714 AM/FM Radio Clock Cordless Phone (CP714)

Open Question

Cobra Intenna CP-2500 Phone

Hi, I just need to know how to increase the volume on the phone. It has been stored away for a few years, perhaps it is the battery. Got any ideas? Also, is there somewhere I can get information on how to program numbers and such. I don't have my owners manual anymore. Thanks!

Make sure to place your cell phone at least 12 inches away from your CB, and make sure your cell phone is not far from your blue tooth, and make sure you have a good signal on your cell phone and this will insure a quality conversation.

Yours appears to be an older model, but should have similar functions to the current generation. Heres the manual for a similar unit. If it helps, please remember to rate my solution.

Do inexpensive corded phones have an internal battery? I just hooked up a phone that was stored away for a couple of years. It takes a few seconds to get a dial tone, but that time seems to be getting...

The 52860 is a phone line powered phone. There may be a memory backup battery or capacitor but it should not effect the operation of the phone drawing dial tone. Perhaps the hookswitch contacts are oxidized from storage and using it is cleaning them up a bit. If there is a battery, it should be accessible from either the bottom of the phone or, more typically, from under the directory card on the base.

Problem with phone volume with HTC P3452

Yes, there is a setting where you can tell the phone not to automatically adjust the volume, this is set so that if you are in a very quiet place nobody else listens to your phone conversation. Check the settings under PHONE and UN-CHECK the automatically set volume box.
Have fun

I want to increase volume of speaker without using loud speaker if possible

hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? friend to increase your speaker volume without using loud. you can go to settings the volume increase select try to adjust but if ever you have already increased it but still it appears low. the problem is in your earpiece device attached in the phone if the speaker is already weak or faulty it will give you low volume eventhugh you have adjusted it. To solve such problem you can change your speaker with the new one so that it can give you better or best performance and dont forget to let the techinicians do the job in replacing the ear peice.just look for somebody who know in your neighborhood and in i remind you the speaker model is common for the phone so no need to worry for stocks. i hope i helped you.good luck

Need to adjust earpiece volume

Hi,

You can increase the earpiece volume by pressing the UP volume key (located on the side of the phone) *during* a phone call. I simply called my voicemail and once it connected, I hit the UP volume key and the volume meter displayed. Then I pressed it til it was the max and pressed SET. That worked for me, hope it works for you.

Hi,
The problem is solved at least for now. Just the action of unplugging both the phone line and the power plug must have reset electronic switching. It is good for now but I don't have confidence for the future. Thanks for asking, fmwunder.
