Hi

It refers to a paper jam. Follow the below steps

1. Open the cartridge compartment Remove the toner and inspect if any paper jam has occurred
2. Open the rear of the printer and inspect
3. Check the paper sensor in the middle of the fuser at the paper delivery part.
4. Turn off the printer and inspect if any sensor is malfunctioning

remove any paper pieces if found and try to turn off the on the printer.

My cannon power shot will not register that the flash is flipped up, so the flash will not turn on. How do i fix this

Are you sure you did not select flash off? This setting remains even when you switch off the camera. See basic settings page 14. If on top of the screen next to the ISO symbol is a flash symbol with a bar, you manually switched off your flash.

Error 5 with canon eos rebel 6.3 mp

there is a pin in the hot shoe that detects if an external flash is connected. check and make sure it isn't stuck down.

check to make sure the flash comes all the way up. sometimes spillage can cause the flash to not go up all the way or not to come up at all. you would have to disassemble the flash unit and clean the pivots and lubricate them with grease

If the flash comes all the way up but the camera is still 'clicking' - the lock is still moving back and forth to free the flash, then the problem is either in the flash-up switch, located on the flex on the bottom side of the top cover, is not operating properly. you would need to remove the top cover (first removing all the other covers) and repair the switch. if that switch is OK, then there may be a circuit problem. don't forget to discharge the flash capacitor - 300 volts - ouch!!!

if the flash comes up but the flash symbol keeps blinking and the flash never charges, or the symbol comes on for full flash, but when you fire it the flash doesn't fire and the symbol starts blinking again, you are probably looking at a dead flash board

Defrost symbol flashing on top , cook symbol flashing at bottom , cannot reset?

I take it this is your microwave. Try to push all of the buttons at one time while unplugged. Try to hold reset/clear button when you plug it in.

Flashing red symbol on screen - not 'no cassette loaded' symbol.

I had the same problem with my ZR800. After lots of searching on the net I found out what the symbol indicates. It means that the little battery that holds the memory for the clock is weak. It's under a little cover behind the main battery compartment. I put in a new one that the flashing icon is gone. I put the battery I took out into another ZR800 and the icon started flashing on it. A simple solution that Canon should have posted in the manual.

How do i get my flash to turn back on

Hi! To turn On the flash you just need to press the flash button on the top of the camera., Flash button is like a down arrow or lightning icon., make sure that the flash symbol is set to A -icon or eye- icon or may be a down arrow symbol., if you see on your LCD a circle icon with a down arrow it means your flash is off., Gudluck!

Flashing Battery Symbol on GPX PDL805

The appearance of a battery symbol while you are using just the battery means that you are using just the battery.

That's it.

No Problem.

The flashing battery symbol is a constant reminder to you that a power intensive function is only supported by the battery, and that you should make external power available so as to complete the task without losing power in a battery drain event.
