yes, you can. the questions are what do you intend for this amp to drive?(speaker ratings, and make model) and what kind of pre-amp/receiver are you planning to send the signal? This is a pro amp,got one in my HT system and can't go above 20% without angering eveyone in the house, not to mention nearby neighbors.

Hi, When I connect to HDMI into the amplifier there is sound in the TV but there is sound coming from home theater speakers...

Use the tv menu and disable internal speakers or just turn down the volume. Your theater receiver will "pass through" audio signals by default

Have you tried the "Simulated" surround setting?

If you don't get sound in "Simulated" mode then you have probably lost the surround channels.

If you do get sound then your "Media"
is not recorded with a surround "Track". or the surround "Processor" may have issues that need to go to the repair shop.

Question similar to ...connect to home theater... What kind of fan noise do these amps (QSC MX 1500a) have if using in a home theater or stereo system in the typical room?

I work with these amplifiers every day and i can tell you that they not made with quietness in mind.
They are mainly used in a club/disco environment and often mounted in a equipment rack hidden in a closet. Excellent/tough amplifiers if you want power and clean sound ,but
You may find their noise level uncomfortable in a living room.
Hope this help Merry Christmas

I bought a paramax p-510 I want to setup connect it to my tv, what cable do I need

i have no idea to connect it either. Specially since the AV has only 2 jacks instead of three. I connected the two jack with DVD, and the front 2 speakers work and the sub too, however i have no idea how to make the surround and center speakers work. I have tried various variations, but i think the thing is a fake made for only 20 bucks speakers without much juice.
I might be wrong but this is the first av with only two jacks instead of three, even the cable they provide has three jacks

Marantz PM-48 connecting to TV

look on the back of the TV and there should be L/R audio outputs (white & red), connect this to a spare input of your amp via a connecting lead eg. AUX or any other input except PHONO.

hope this helps.

KENWOOD Power Amplifier

The power amp does need an imput signal ie. tuner, cd , and such to play. You can use the power amp with the other equipment.
Good Luck
