Hit the check botton on the control panel for the printer. Scroll down to "Configure Device" and hit the check button. Scroll down to "Resets" and hit the check button. Scroll to "Reset Supplies" and hit the check button. Scroll to "New Transfer Kit" and hit the check button. Scroll to "yes" and hit the check button.

Hit the return button (next to check button) until back at ready again. Transfer belt count should be reset now.

To make sure, from the info menu, scroll down to "print suply stus page" and hit the check button. Transfer belt should read as 100% now.

DON'T WORRY IF IT TAKES MORE THAN ONCE FOR IT TO TAKE. WE'VE SEEN IT TAKE 2 OR 3 TIMES OF REPEATING THE PROCESS (for no good reason) BEFORE THE MACHINE RESETS THE COUNT.

Hello there, can u help me?my hp laserjet 3500 gives me 59.99 printer error.i junst replaced a new transfer kit. but still not working

The manual states:
59.99.00
An error occurred in the secondary transfer
engaging mechanism.
1. Faulty secondary transfer engagement
sensor. Replace the secondary transfer
engagement sensor.
2. Faulty secondary transfer engaging
solenoid. Replace the secondary transfer
engaging solenoid.
3. Faulty feed motor. Replace the feed
motor.
4. Faulty DC controller PCB
Action: Replace the DC controller PCB.

But experience shows that you should look at the Swing Plate assembly. If the gear on it is skipping, it will cause these errors. It is located in the back left under the fuser.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

Asking to replace transfer kit - old printer is this necessary? Can it be over ridden?

You can not over ride it. You can keep on printer till the printout gets bad. Then you will have to replace the transfer kit.
