i am also getting similar problem , on pushing the power button usually it wont start ,

    >some times the red and green light start blinking(4:1) in such case if it starts, will switch off soon , also will turn off immediately on disconnecting AC supply .

    >sometimes 3 LEDs ON and turn off within 5 seconds without booting

    > if its start normally (without red light blinking) it will work without any problem. on disconnecting AC supply it will work in battery power.

it seems battery is having full charge(all 5 lights are appearing )

    please help

paid 150 gbp for one off e-bay noticed unpluging the ac adapter causes a blank screen. not even battery removal will reset. The start button has no effect after shutdown . the ac adaptor has to be plugged in for 5 mins and continual power button pressing till it starts.bought in uk but need help here in scandinavia. thanks

Dell D600 won't boot

I am sure Not the CPU or fan problem. Follow the below step to repair it.
1. Just press the power button 5 seconds or more to see the laptop can reboot or not. 2. replug the memory modules. 3. maybe the power supply device failed that the electronic volt is not enough to boot the laptop. Just replace a new Dell latitude d600 battery power supply.
