My sound card have a problem - Dell Latitude D610 Notebook

1. Locate na expansion slot in your computer that will accept your sound card.
2.Gently place the sound card on top of the slot. Line up the pins on the sound card with the slot and push the card down so that it sits in the slot. Be sure that the card is securely in the slot and pushed all the way in.

There are 2 ways to find your sound card driver

1. you see the chip on your sound card where driver model write on chip.
2. You download driver detective and install in the system.

Then you can search the sound card driver.

1st you disable the onboard sound card in BIOS level, then install/update the sound driver for Maddog Prowler 4.1 DSP soud card will solve your problem.

your sound card not adjusted/inserted properly.
if insertef properly then your sound card not support your motherboard
or insert into another slot sound card may be that is not support.
2...if your sound card is built in motherboard then may be your driver is not support to sound card.tell me about your sound card company.

You should be able to get the driver from the Compaque website by submitting the model of your computer.

sound cards are card fitted in pc to get sound when soundc slot of motherboard is malfunctioning or driver is not available,multimedia cards are cards for storage connected through USB and display cards are used when video slot of pc is malfunctioning or there is no driver.higher memory display cards are known as graphic cards.

in your computer sound card problem. otherwise please check the control pannal in sounds and vedios.
then check the computer wheather the sound card installed or not. if the sound card not installed please installed the sound card drivers.

you may need to go into the bios F2 or Del on boot up and in advanced cmos settings look for onboard sound and select dissable if you are refering to a seperate pci sound card.
