It was not the board, it was what the technician call a Soft Relay.. It works sort of like a voltage aborber, to ensure the start relay isnt hit with a all the amps at start up.. 200 dollar fix..

Thats the code for IC4511 on the DG board, you will need to replace the entire DG board. You can get one at the following link, just leave them a email with your model number and what your error code blink is, they respond quickly.

Watching T V and screen went black, Is it junk or is their a way to reset it ? Power light is on , but that is all. No sound.

Most TVs these days are computer-controlled, and the computer stays on, even when the TV is "off" so it can receive commands from the remote. Sometimes the computer gets hung up, particularly if there was a short-term power failure (a drop of a few seconds).

The way to reset it is to unplug the TV for a few minutes. See if that helps.

BLINKING GREEN LIGHT AND WILL NOT POWER UP

You can check the Error code by doing the following.

On the Front panel hold down the Device and Menu Button for 5 seconds. The LED light will then start flashing the first set of flashing lights is for the "1"5 part of the code it will then pause for about a half second and start the ones place 1"5". The code will repeat 5 times before going off.

The Error Codes: 12 - Normal Operation; 21 - X-Ray Protect; 22 - Short Protect; 23 - Loss of Horizontal Deflection; 24 - Loss of Vertical Deflection.

The problem may also be in the power supply when you first plug the device in check how many times the Led blinks if it blinks for just over a minute the power supply is working fine. If the Led blinks repeatedly and does not stop the DM is not running.

My 55313 mitsubishi just will not power on. green light comes on but then goes not off not ever producing a picture. ran error codes, none detected? what could be wrong? plz help

Hello.
Just in case if you have done it wrong.... To retrieve error code plug TV into wall outlet. Push power button, let it do whatever it does. After that push BOTH buttons in fron of TV named "Menu" and "Input" and hold it for at least 5-6 seconds.
Green LED in front of TV will start blinking error code (when it starts you can let buttons go).
If it clinks like "2 blinks, pause, 2blinks longer pause, repeat" most likely you have convergence issue. Two convergence amps have to be replaced along with couple PICO fuses that already open.
I would strongly recommend to let professional do this repair. As well in case of different error code.
Should cost you in ball park of $250-$300.
Regards.
Russ.

the number of red light flashes indicate where the fault lies...sony error codes are easy enough to find if you google the model with the number of flashes.hope this helps somewhat as you dont say how many blinks!!

When i go to turn on the tv the red power light turns on and then starts flashing, with an all blank tv screen. I cant get anything but a black screen. The light will flash for a lil while, then the tv...

BLINKING RED LIGHT IS ERROR CODE.

1. Unplug set for a few minutes.

2. Plug back in and turn on.

3. When red power light starts blinking--COUNT THE BLINKS.

4. THREE BLINKS, pause, THREE BLINKS (ETC) IS SHORT PROTECTION AND A DO IT YOURSELF repair for some people. I have complete instructions for this repair.

5. 5 blinks, pause and 5 blinks etc is short on 140 volt line and while not as easy as 3 blink error code it points to places to look at.

If this told you something you did not know, rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.

Post a comment here when you know what error code is and I will help.

UNPLUG TV AND THEN PLUG BACK IN---TURN ON---GREEN POWER LIGHT COMES ON FOR A MOMENT AND GOES OFF.

PRESS AND HOLD “device” and “menu” buttons on front of tv for at least 5 seconds and then release both together.

Watch for power light to blink in a sequence:

1 blink-then 2 blinks-------no error

2 blink-then 1 blink-------X-ray protection

2 blink-then 2 blink-------SHORT PROTECTION*******

2 blink-then 3 blink---------deflection circuit problem

2 blink-then 4 blink---------vertical circuit problem

******2, then 2 is most common---usually means one of the fuses that protect the Convergence IC or IC’s is blown---set will detect no voltage to convergence IC and shut down.

SET WILL REPEAT BLINK ERROR CODE UP TO 5 TIMES AND THEN TO GET IT TO REPEAT MORE YOU HAVE TO UNPLUG SET AND TRY TO TURN ON AGAIN.

IF IT IS 2 AND THEN 2---USUALLY
CONVERGENCE CIRCUIT PROBLEM

if your set does not have a device button press Menu and Input together for 5 seconds and release. there will be a pause between blinks---2 blinks, a pause and two more blinks etc.

Power lights keep blinking

The power light indicates a problem (usually) with an internal problem. Usually there is a pattern to the light. (for example 3 blinks then a pause, 3 blinks then a pause etc.)

A service tech can use the code to help determine the problem.
