There are digital converters for a computer like these, but they only let you receive local channels (ABC, NBC, FOX, CNN for the US) but not "Cable" channels (Discovery Networks, Comedy Central, HBO, ESPN for US). If you want a web program, Hulu is the leading online TV provider. Most recent episodes will be available for free (with 1-2 commercials). But for around $7/month (very cheap for online) you can access thousands of more episodes, and some movies. Netflix is a good movie/DVD service (starts at $8/month) but you cant access tv episodes until they come out on DVD. And not all shows will be available on your computer. The illegal way (which I DO NOT recommend) is using a site like The Pirate Bay to pirate movies/tv for free. I do not condone you to use this website, for it is highly illegal and you could be charged millions of dollars in charges if you are caught. I recommend Hulu over anything else, for its expanding range of shows and simplicity.

FULL HDLED SMART TV DO I REQUIRE A BOX TO GET EXTRA TV CHANNELS (LIKE SKY BOX )

Hi

If you want to get "premium" channels then yes you will need some kind of converter box. If you are okay with the free channels then you can connect to the cable without this. That is if there is cable. If you are using satellite for your tv watching then you are really stuck and have to either get cable, or a new sat provider.

Of course, I do not suggest the following; there is always the rouge "black market" methods to access most channels. This is illegal and can be very costly if you get caught with that as this would be a violation of copyright etc.... but this doesn\'t stop a thriving underground community of veiwers.

How to connect my acer aspire laptop to my conventional tv

Depends on type of input ports available on TV. Does it have AV ports? If yes, you need a serial port to AV adapter cable. An example is here: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=212966741&listingid=94897580

If the TV only has a coaxial cable input, you also need an RF modulator. An example can be seen here: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103095

The latter includes a modulator similar to old gaming consoles that modulates TV channel 3 or 4. You have to set the TV channel to one of those for it to work. In the former case (TV has AV inputs), you turn the TV channel to the "Line in" setting.

OK?

Need product key for MS Office And Student 2007

When you get a new computer like this they don't ever really include office unless you pay extra for it. If you didn't pay extra then you probably got a 30 day free trial and you will need to go buy it to get a key. If you did pay extra for it they should have given you the case the cd came in for it and that will have the activation key.

Bottom line for the extra connectivity and DLNA certification i would go with the
Bravia Z-Series KDL-40Z4100/B 40-Inch 1080pBecause if you connect this to your in home network you can stream music videos and music off you PC onto your TV without the need for extra wired or memory cards etc.

Otherwise if you don't need this feature the other options are identical on the other TV so it is just as good a choice.

I have a DT16300-16. I dont use it for Top-up TV but the last few weeks it keeps recording programs from the Lottery Extra channel. I also keep receiving 3-4 minute recordings about top-up. I have had this...

The PVR you have has preset Top-up TV channels it will download from as a preset. You need to go into the main menu and turn off the auto update function of the machine. Then in your "TV Guide" menu find the particular channel and deselect it for download or recording.

The 3-4 minute recordings are commercials for their products and came with the last few auto updates, they're trying to sell their product.

A crash could be a sign of stress on the hard drive, most of these machines have craptastic hard drives that if even rattled or slightly moved while being recorded upon they die. If you're recording and deleting at the same time (with the age of the machine) I would not be surprised if it continued to happen. If it crashes when you do these things individually it is probably the same problem, or the firmware of the machine is corrupt.

Unclear TV pictures

Well what your problem is the antenna is not secured well enough to the roof. You really only have a couple options, you can secure the antenna better or just live with the fact that when it is windy your channels will be fuzzy.
