This function is kind of confusing. It will not shut the player down while music is playing. It's just basically a battery-saving function. Say you leave your player on and not playing. After set amount of minutes it'll shut off to save battery life, but not if it's playing music. Odd function, eh?

(btw, this is what i've found to be the function and may not be 100% right.)

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hello, I recently purchased a Logik mp3 player, model number L8BGMP410. I am very happy with this handy way of carrying around a few hundred of my favourite recording. My only problem with this device...

You can set the auto off time. The available option are 15,30,60,120 minutes and disable.
How you can adjust is described on page 26 of the user manual which is download-able from here:

The light keep flashing ,my computer cannot scan it

Try reinstalling it to your computer. Does you model have the "Auto Scan" feature? If it does, this link explains how to use that feature. http://ars.samsung.com/customer/usa/jsp/faqs/faqs_view_us.jsp?SITE_ID=40&PG_ID=0&AT_ID=268355&PROD_SUB_ID=0&PROD_ID=46&EMAIL_ID=40. If this does not help, check your PC specifications and see if they match up with your MP3 player's specification needs. It may be that your MP3 player cannot work on your computer because you don't have the right specifications on your computer that the it needs to have in order for the MP3 player to work on it. Here are the Specifications:
  • Pentium 300MHz or higher.
  • USB Port 2.0
  • Windows 2000/XP/Vista
  • DirectX 9.0 or higher
  • 100MB of free hard disc space
  • CD Rom Drive (2X or higher)
  • Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher
  • Resolution 1024 X 768 or higher
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
If this does not help, try resetting the system. Push the "HOLD" button in the direction the arrow is pointing to. Press and hold briefly the "User/Recording" and the "Play & Play/Pause" buttons at the same time. This will not affect your settings. You should organize the files and folders, as this makes scanning easier.
Your batteries might also be an issue. Maybe you need to recharge the battery.

I also have the link for the user manual, where I got some of this info from. http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200709/20070918092735125_YPU3-COMMON-ENGLISH1.0.pdf

Whenever i press play, my MP3 player doesn;t play ANY song!!!!

I had the same problem, and I was ready to take the player back. I was searching under media help and found the help I needed. This is what you need to do: open your media player. Along the top it will read Now playing, Library, Rip, Burn and then SYNC. Sync is what you need to click on. In the area that you would drag music to for a playlist will now have ' Connect A Device'. The rest should be easy to follow. Good Luck!

Elements Mp4 player shuts down after little play

Mine did the same thing. What I did, and it worked well for me, was I went down the menu until the Settings, then clicked that and went down until the Power Off section. I clicked that and went to Sleep Time, and held the right button down until it was set to 240 (I think that's what the highest # is). That keeps it playing for 240 minutes, after which it automatically shuts down to save power. You have to reset this every time you turn the mp4 player back on.

Hope that helped!

Auto shutoff

Go to "Settings" -> "Auto Shut-Off" - there i set a time like 5 or 10 minutes, and press the "enter"

The auto shut off is if the device is left idle for that amount of time.

It does not function as a sleep timer, per say.

I hope this helps

My siren 4GB mp3 player

Why does my player display "Boot error, Shutting Down" when I switch it on?
"– The player has been formatted with the wrong system, for example NTFS, Mac OS or Unix. To enable it again for playing audio tracks, please format the player in FAT/FAT32 format."

– If formatting was not successful, please reinstall the firmware while the player is in Recovery mode (Refer to the chapter "If the player does not work" in your instruction manual).

Hope this helps. M~

My Sansa turns off by itself...Help?

This happens to me to but only when Im listening to a long playlist and I haven't switched anything in a while, but if you go to "settings" and the to "auto shut-off" you can set the time you want it to auto shut off, usually it is on 5mins, so when the 5 minutes are up that you haven't touched it, it will shut off, i belive you sett it all the way up to 125 minutes, hope this helps!

Why does it turns itself off?

it's locked. Change the switch on the back. (supposed to use to keep from accidentally changing songs etc.)
