I'm connected through a 4-port USB hub. Why can't I get the PC to detect my D-snap SD Camera?

Yes, it is possible to connect multiple webcams to a single computer and have the computer detect and receive feed from all of them.

just not sure if it is possible to simultaneously receive feed from all of them.

All you need to buy is a USB hub, there are 4 ports and 8 ports USB hubs.
