Hi! kcmetal9901
Sound like you need to have an electrician check the main breaker panel and the circuit feeding the dryier etc. etc. etc.

Is there a reset button for Frigidaire AEQ7000EGO? Had a power surge/outage and now dryer has no power, although plugged into electrical outlet.

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you had a power surge at your home, and now your Frigidaire Affinity dryer, model#, AEQ7000EGO, has no power. I do see that you have checked to make sure that it is plugged in. I suggest checking the circuit breaker or fuse that the dryer is on. Make sure that the fuse is not blown or the breaker tripped. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Electrical power surge

Hello Marilyn Cook - I understand the unit has previously experienced a power surge. Have you try unplugging the unit or flipping the household breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes; is there power to the unit? I suggest touching each button individually on keypad, do any lights turn on or does the display change? If any proves to be ineffective, I would recommend contacting a professional to move forward accurately because it can possibly have a defective control board.

Kenmore Dryer (Model 110.84834201) won't start after power surge

The dryer has a few fuses. I will give the best website I have found it gives diagrams and part pictures for all appliances. I have ordered from them many times and always got the right part. Go to www.repairclinic.com The fuses on the dryer are very easy to change and you can get the parts in only a day or two.

Whirlpool Duet dryer does not run after power surge/overvoltage

Swb, unplug the dryer, remove the top by removing the 3 screws in back. Slide it off toward the back. On the left will be the main board. Remove the metal cover on the board. On the board you will see P1-5 black wire (L1 line in voltage. You will also see P1-2 white wire (nuetral). With a voltage meter see if you have 120V from that black to white. If you do, you have power going in, nothing coming out, replace the board. Now Im going on that fact that you have no display lights, the dryer is completely non responsive. Catriver

SURGING

I'm assuming you mean that lights in the house are blinking and that there is a buzzing from the unit. Sounds like a motor issue or a drum that has something which is overloading that motor. It is also possible that you have a defective circuit breaker that is arcing or an arc in the relay/timer board. If these hints are not helping, then I suggest you get someone in.
