"F09" is a "Flood Condition" error code. The following link explains this:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r805532-f09_error_whirlpool_duet_kenmore_elite

Read through the information thoroughly and verify all the recommended steps. More than likely you have a drainage issue with the drain pump as a possible culprit.

If you need to check the drain pump for obstructions, the next link explains how:

Let me know if you require additional assistance. I hope this helps you.

PS All the fault codes are normally in a tech sheet provided by the manufacturer. This tech sheet is usually placed inside the washer behind the lower panel, or affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls.

Ghw9150pw2 My 2006 Whirlpool Duet washer is showing an F11 code. It will run a small amount of water initially, but then stop and throw the code. It was ran a few loads successfully one night, and the next...

The F11 code indicates that there is a communication error between the motor or MCU and the CCU (central control unit or clock). To reset the washer and try again, press Pause/Cancel twice. Then press Drain/Spin. Then try setting up to run a load.

If the error recurs, you need to check the wiring harnesses and connectors between multiple components, check for wear at the motor bearings and other drive components. Then next components to check are the MCU (motor control unit) and the CCU. This may be a good time to get a technician to check out the unit.

I hope this helps.

Error codes, we've cleaned out the filter. Do we need to reset the Washer code? and how do we do that? Frigidaire GLTF2940ES

Good Morning Kat, thank you for your question!

First, what error code does your washer displayed? Meanwhile, one of the best ways to determine if your appliance has a false error code is to reset the power to the appliance by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on the unit. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to inform me if the error code does not clear so I may advise you the meaning of the error code and/or possibilities of the issue the unit could be experiencing. Thank you and best of luck!

F9 WHAT SHALL I DO

The fault code F9 means that your washer thinks that the motor brushes are worn and need replacement. It is a fairly simple matter to replace the brushes (you can get them online or from your local appliance repair center.)

There is a possibility that the code is being reported in error, in which case you can try to reset the computer using the following procedure: Unplug the unit for 10 minutes, then plug it back in. Turn the program knob to Off (usually at 12 O'Clock), after which you hold down the top 2 program buttons while turning the program knob 1 click counterclockwise. Release the buttons when all the lights are lit up, but not flashing, and turn the knob to Off again.

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa! We would sure appreciate a 4 "thumbs-up" rating for this answer. Happy holidays!

My Duet GHW 9150P has code f11. what do I need to check

I would open your bottem panel. There should be an owners/service manual in the inside of the battom panel somwhere. If not on the botton, slide the top panel off and check along the inner side walls for a service manual. These usually have the error codes and descriptions.hope this helps

F11 fault code

Hi,

Please find the steps that needs to be taken for trouble shooting F11 fault code specially if there was a power cut.

1, Power off at the machine. Do the next 4 steps within 3 seconds.
2, Press Temperature Button in.
3, Power on
4, Release temperature button
5, press Soil Type button

You will now hear the door lock release so you can get to your pants.

Diagnostic code is now displayed. You can switch the washer off and back on and the error code is clear. If you do this it will work.

I am sure it would help you to resolve the issue.

God Bless.

Error code F 11/ DL

First lets get your door unlocked so you can get the clothes out.
Remove the lower front panel from the washer. Reach up to the bottom of the latch and you will feel a tab hanging from the latch. Pull down on it and the door will unlock.

When you have the panel off you should see a tech sheet, probably on the right as you are looking at the machine. This tells you what to check for each fault code.
The F 11 code is for a communication failure between the main control board and the motor control board under the machine.
The DL is for a door latch problem as you already know.
If you are now getting both codes, you either have two seperate problems (unlikely), or the main control is the problem.
The only thing that the 2 codes have in common is the main control at the top rear of the machine. Loose wiring connections at the board and faulty solder joints in the boards are the most common problems we run into with electronic controls.
Most likely the door latch was not the problem the first time you got this code. The latches are usually pretty reliable unless the switch actuator gets broken, which won't give a code, it just won't start.
Check your owners manual for the warranty information. These machines used to have a 2 yr warranty on the control boards. Warranty policies changed industry wide in fall of '06 so they may only be covered for a year on yours.
Post back if you have any questions or need help.
Thanks/Mike
