My EXP has lost its bottom address bar. Everything else is fine

My EXP software suddenly lost the bottom address bar. The top one works fine as does all the other EXP features. I have attempted to "bring it up" by placing the cursor at the bottom and when the double arrow appears, I moved it up slightly--nothing, and then up higher, still no change.

HELP! and Thank You

Open any folder in the pc then on the Explorer you can see a line of names listed File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help.

select View then you should see status bar make sure this is ticked then go to tools then Folder Options then go to the View tab then select apply to all folders then shut down pc then reboot and see if all is ok with explorer if you find that it has not saved setting then scan for viruses and spy-ware if you have done this and its clear the best thing I can I say save all files and redo windows and when you have got a good working copy then make a backup of the operating system then you can go back to a working copy as the registry gets corrupted and if you can get a reg scanner to fix it then try this first if you find there is too many problems then do the above proccedure.

Address bar, forward back button, tools etc gone

You lost your navigation tool bar. Not to worry. open the firefox. Click view (3 rd button on the second line at the top). Then Click on toolbars. On the pop out that opens on the side, click on the Navigation tool bar, and you will see a tick mark appear on the left hand side. You will now have your address bar, forward, back earlier.
