#1. you will need to install Motorola phone tools on the laptop. You can get it from www.modmymoto.com.
#2. Load the software ,then with a usb cable connect your phone to the laptop.your laptop will reconise it and load the proper drivers from phone tools software.
#3.Go into the multimedia manager in phone tools and you'll see the pictures on your phone and on your computer and you will have the opportunity to transfer back and forth. The same goes for ring tones and music and videos..Hope this helps. If you have trouble finding Motorola phone tools on modmymoto you can contact www.phoenixtec.ca fill out there contact form with what you need they will happily send you a link to phone tools.

I have a motorols w377 cell fone but have no disc to connect to

down load usb driver from Motorla for the w377 and installl on pc. restart pc then open my computer and plug in usb cable and phone. the phone will ask if you want to connect the w377 as a storage divice chick yes and wait while it configures. There will be a message saying in storage phone no regular phone activities can be done.

The phone should show up as MS_DEIVCE (You may need to refresh My Computer to see it on the pc.). DOUBLE CLICK MS_DEIVCE and go into pictures and down load (by coping or draging as required).
When done disconnect and wait for phone to restart. This should be automatic.

Cheers

Can't download photo's onto computer

Are you connecting your phone as a Mass Storage Device?

  1. From the home screen, attach one end of the Motorola Original Enhanced USB cable to your phone and the other end to a USB port on your computer.
  2. On your phone, press Yes to use the phone as a portable USB storage device.
Note: When connected as a storage device the phone cannot perform regular phone activities. Disconnect to resume normal operation.
  3. On the PC, open the My Computer window and find where your phone displays as a Mass Storage icon.
Double click the Mass Storage Device icon.
  4. Drag and drop files between your computer and phone.
  5. When finished, remove the phone safely from your computer. Right click the "Safely Remove Hardware"
icon at the bottom of your computer screen, then select "USB Mass Storage Device" and click Stop.
  6. Select USB Mass Storage Device and click OK.
Now it is safe to disconnect the cable. When the cable is disconnected, the phone restarts

Motorola 375

I have no solution to this problem as I am having the same problem with my Motorola W375. I do have a question for you people though. What manual are you reading from that says the W375 can connect to your computer for downloading anything? Every W375 manual I have seen says nothing anywhere about this mystical ability you believe exists. Please enlighten me.
I would still like to know if anyone finds a solution to the 'Unable to Charge' message, but please also let me know about this brochure that says you can connect to your PC with no driver. Very interesting.
