check warranty status (Warranty starts from the Date Of Purchase) first before calling tech support for replacement.

I checked the following document from Epson:
Unfortunately, it says that this is an indication of an unknown error, & recommends that you contact your dealer to get the printer serviced. I believe this is worth a try especially if the printer is still covered by warranty.
