Question about Acer Extensa 4620 Notebook
Hi i have a probleme with my laptop acer Extensa 4620, after the installation of XP, my system can't shudown, i need your help.
Every PC made in the last decade can be shut down by holding the power button for ~ 10 seconds.
Windows doesn't like it but it is one solution.
You might also try shutting it down via the Task Manager which you can call up with Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
You may also need to flash your BIOS with new firmware from the Acer website to accommodate XP.
Be advised; flashing the BIOS isn't fun since if anything has a hiccough and the flash doesn't work right, you may end up with a completely dead PC. The process deletes the original content and then (we hope) replaces it with updated code.
Follow any instructions Acer provides to the letter and then . . . pray?
