Clean cooler fins and make sure the cooling fan comes on and it must get fresh air to run properly if it is in a small room without proper ventilation it will just keep circulating hot air and lastly if all the above are are met it maybe a bad temp sensor and make sure the unit has enough oil and the oil filter is not plugged and the thermo valve (thermostat) is not sticking best way to check this it to take the temp of each oil carrying pipe going into the cooler and the one leaving the cooler and see if there is a difference in temp using a ir temp meter

We have an Atlas Copco GA37-125 AP oil-injected 50 hp rotary screw compressor. When it gets hot outside it shuts down.

Question edited for clarity, maker name 'compco', and '(what it is)'.
Question moved from Atlas Refrigerators, to a Compressor category.

It is a well known issue. Details in the link.

I have atlas copco compressor GA 7 , the problem with the compressor is oil in the air filter . can you help ?

I am assuming the oil in the air filter, if its a beltless style would be to keep dust from going inside, like the really old cars were, they called them oil soaked filters. better at trapping dust and dirt.

We have an Atlas Copco GA45 compressor with an Electronikon display. When the weather is cold the unit runs great, but when it gets hot and humid the pressure relief valve keeps blowing.

May have a pressure relief valve going bad. Could also be a transducer not reading correct pressure when hot /humid due to condensate in sensor line.

Hi , ive got GA22 but it running very high, sometimes trips out. We have replaced everything to date - service, soleniod, flushed cooler, cleaned cooler, new pipes, new seperator, thermostat on constant...

Check the direction of the cooling fan, if it is a centrifugal fan it will blow no matter what way it turns, but it will not blow as much if it goes the wrong direction. Check for the arrow and make sure it is going the way it says it should.

Where can I get a true-test snow blower manual?

Atlas snow blowers were in production in the early to mid 1970s, but are no longer available. Some models, such as the 5 HP single stage and the 3 HP model, were sold by True Value hardware stores under their TRU-TEST brand and not under the Atlas name. The brand was eventually acquired by the Modern Tool and Die Company (MTD). Customer service: 800-800-7310

Keeps tripping the reset button after done building up pressure, why?

Since I am not there and can't see what is happening this might just be a WAG, but when my air compressor does that, it is either the pressure has been set too high, and when it reaches the maximum rated setting it trips the over pressure switch that trips the reset button.

It has also happened when the pressure regulator whent out and did not sense the pressure that it was supposed to turn off on.

Which type of a compressor machine has a better to a plant consuming 500 CFM of air at an average of 120 psig screw type or piston type

A screw type compressor will be the better solution. Screw compressors are made to run. You can also get screw compressors with variable speed with means electrical savings. Ingersoll has screws that are up to 150 psi. Atlas Copco has screws that I know go up to 175 psi. I don't know if it's still available but the Government had assistance plans or grants if purchasing a compressor with a power savings feature.

We are using three screw oil free atlas copco compressors{ZR-275}. They often encounters the problem of high outlet temperature of first stage , almost near tripping stage. and we have to replace the...

Dear Hamza,
High Temperature at First Stage means your Second stage is becoming Weak and it is not capable to pull the maximum air from First stage, If it is only at loaded position.
If this is your regular problem you must check your Water condition it should not be below 20 degree C and not above 40 degree C.
You may also try to blow some dry air into second stage ( HP Element ) when ever it is in off position.
Hope this will help you.
