This didn't solve problem. There is not an option to input numbers. After i press select video I can press 1.tv display 2. tv type 3. video output 4.reolution. I tried under video output and options were 1. CVBS 2. YPBPR and 3. RGB .Only the RGB wishes to hold picture. The other two send the screen into snowland!!

Still nothing happening. Have tried pressing 1357 several times after 'video setup' appears. Thanks for trying anyway. I just wish I'd known before purchasing the darn thing!!

Nothing usually comes up on DVD players to input the numbers. I hacked my philips using a number input code and i just typed the numbers in using the remote with no box or anything coming up to input the numbers. You just type the numbers using the remote. Follow it up to the select video part and press numbers 1357 on the remote.
