Question about Panasonic Lands Phones

1 Answer

I have a Panasonic KX-TG7210ET Quad set. For some reason when anyone phones the house the phone rings once and cuts off the call, usually before I can get to it. Also the Caller ID which used to work doesn't work anymore. Any thoughts?

I think something is broken.

Try unplugging all phones and see if it still trips the ring. If it does, you have a wiring problem if not, probably a bad TG set.

Phone rings once and gets forwarded

Hello there,

Call forwarding is a feature of PABX and Public Exchange systems so do you mean the phone rings once and then 'forwards' to another different telephone number ? If so, then you need to contact the company / person controlling your Lines as you cannot change this on your phone.

If you mean that the phone rings once and then goes on to Answerphone, then this is down to the setting of 'ring count' which is on page 40 of your user manual downloadable here http://www.manualslib.com/manual/117136/Panasonic-Kx-Tg2431.html

If this doesnt answer your question, these please ask again and try and give us more information to help you.

It could be interference from another device. Try using the phone in different parts of the house to see if the problem persists. Also, try taking the battery out of the phone to reset it.

I'm using tes824 panasonic, my boss ask me to set guard house phone ring after office time, curuently day time guard house phone not ringgi at working time. how to do it ? TQ ya

Somewhere in the box, you have a DAY/NIGHT/LUNCH set of ringing controls and a clock or code to control it. In our TA's they are system programs 006 and 007 for clock control and times and 408-410 for ringing. YMMV :-)

Uniden DECT 6.0 2080-2 rings for no reason

These DECT 6.0 phones work on 1.9 Ghz frequency and should not have any interference other than from another DECT 6.0 phone that can be within 150 ft of your phone. That means that somebody, a neighbor that has a DECT 6.0 phone close by is causing this problem. It also means that they are also getting these phantom phone rings. The best solution? Go to a 5.8 Ghz phone and your problem should go away.
