It seems your network is correctly configured. But the problem is with your email settings. So check your Email settings. Get it clarified from your email service provider.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Try This friend;

SETUP / COnfigurare Yahoo! Mail on your mobile phone, through IMAP / IMAP4.
* (Settings step by step for the Nokia 6500 slide. You catch yourself how to set up and other types of phones:)):

- Menu -> Messaging - message settings -> E-mail messages -> Add -> Create manually ... and get the menu: New mailbox settings.
New mailbox settings:
- Mailbox name: the name of mail box. Yahoo! Mail, for example.
- My name: Name.
- E-mail address: nume-id@yahoo.com
- Incoming server type: IMAP4 (default is POP3. Change with IMAP4)

- Login information: IMAP4 autentification [ON], IMAP4 user name [id Yahoo! * Without passing si@yahoo.com), IMAP4 password [Yahoo account password. * Will be required twice)
- Back -:)
- Download settings: settings are preferential. (Retrieve mode - just extract the subject of the mail received all the mail, No. of mails shown - Number of e-mails displayed, Mailbox update interval -- the time when the phone will connect to the mail server to verify your email, Automatic retrieval - Automatic extraction of mail received. or not.)

* IMAP4 access point -> Proxy: Disabled; Data bearer: Packet Data; Bearer settings (follow another menu) -> Packet data ACC. pt. Internet Network type: IPv4; Authentification type: Normal, User name: id-to-yahoo, Password: password for yahoo
* Back, Back, Back .. to see: Outgoing settle. (SMTP):)

- Outgoing settle. (SMTP) - settings that are sent by mail on your mobile phone, using SMTP is the Yahoo! Mail.
* Outgoing SMTP serv. - Smtp.mobile.yahoo.com
* Reply-to address - the email address you wish to receive response to mails sent from your phone.

Ok, email can be setup using a bunch of different protocols. The difference is how directly you phones data and the data on the server interact. POP and IMAP are methods for receiving email from the server, to send they use a protocol called SMTP. With POP3, email is all downloaded to your phone and saved there, with IMAP you only download the headers (...a header is like the back cover of a book). An Exchange server can do SMTP with either POP or IMAP, but when it says configure for Exchange - it means actually connecting to the mail server and integrating contacts, calendar items, email, like the Outlook client on your Windows machine. This is obviously much more server intensive and requires special permissions to do.

POP and IMAP will require the following information to work. Your login name, your password, your server, and whether the connection is secure. To find these out you can go to your coporate webmail. The user name is what you put in the user login spot, as is the password, the server will usually be either mail followed by a dot and the second half of your email address, or the web URL for the mail server...if the web access page address starts "https" then the connection is most likely secure.

Probably a simple solution, most email will update automatically when connected, but will not send unless told to. Just click options and send/recieve if it's saying it's sending them but not actually sending them.

Setup gmail on my samsung i600

I can access gmail on my phone; it's fairly straightforward: - unlock the keypad - hit the 'envelope' button at the bottom right to go into 'Messaging' - select the bottom item: "New Acccount" - choose "Other (POP3/IMAP)" from the e-mail provider list and hit Next - Enter your name and email address, then hit Next (leave the "Automatic setup" checkbox ticked; it makes no difference) - hit Next again to skip the automatic configuration - enter your gmail username (with the @gmail.com bit; I like to use the recent:myusername@gmail.com to download only the most recent emails) and password. Leave Domain (if necessary) blank and hit Next - choose server type "POP3", account name "Gmail" and select whatever network (WAP Gateway or Internet) you want to use, depending on how you want to connect - Enter the following - - Incoming Server: pop.googlemail.com - - Require SSL connection should be checked (ticked) - - Outgoing Server: smtp.googlemail.com - - Outgoing server requires authentication should be checked - - Outgoing server configuration: - - - Use different user name for outgoing server (if you've used the recent: username for downloading email) - - - Enter your gmail username@gmail.com - - - Enter your password - - - Leave domain blank and check "save password"  - - - check "Require SSL connection" - - - then click Done - - Select however many day's worth of emails you want to download and click Next - - Select "Never" to connect automatically if you aren't on an unlimited data tariff! - Click Next then Finish.
Hope this works!

Email set up

you can, if you have an internet connection to your phone and a pop3 and smtp account on your email.

On jam, go to messaging >Accounts>Outlook E-Mail>Account>New Account...>Enter your e-mail Address: >next>next>Your Name>Username (Put your email login username)> Password (Your E-mail Password)>Account Type (POP3 is OK)>incoming mail (pop3 address, for gmail ,its pop.gmail.com)>Outgoing Mail (smtp server, like smtp.gmail.com)>Domain (if any)>finish.

then to connect, Accounts>connect.
