I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. it has an after market towing pakage, and when i touch the brakes the 2 parking lighs come on, and the swtich is in the off position. how do i fix this... which wiring diagram do i need..

This truck has a park lock, this locks out the shifter unless the brake light is pressed, the electric solenoid that disengages the lock pin is powered by the brake light circuit, so the 1st thing you do is make sure the brake light work, if they do you have much more serious issue like a sticking release cable from the park lock solenoid.
Try http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx. If it is factory installed, there should be a plug in next to/behind the parking brake pedal... at the top. Not easy to see or get to.
