Hold the feed button while turning on the printer. After a config label prints, turn the printer off and then on again, and try printing again.

Also, make sure the lid is closed far enough to engage the lid sensor. If the red light comes on again, press down a bit on the lid, hit the feed button and try to print again.

I was told by Zebra tech to attach it with a parallel cable, click on Start, Run, type in CMD and press enter. This takes you to a DOS prompt. type in the following:
cd\ (enter)
ECHO O>LPT1 (enter)
ECHO ^default (enter)
ECHO ^default>LPT1 (enter)

Make sure you follow the capitalization exactly.

when submitting the print, un-tick the collate box. Use the properties section to check the speed settings in the driver and try again

The printer driver should be set to Continuous or it will think it is still Gap or Black Mark. Please adjust accordingly

How do I stop my printer from skipping a blank row of labels in between each row I print?

I was using LibreOffice Writer to print terminal block labels on my TDP43MY and was having all kinds of problems. (I tried EasyMark too, but had just as many problems.) The printer was constantly switching landscape and portrait modes on me. It would print 2 sets of good labels (portrait) and then the next label would be landscape. It did this no matter if I printed one page at a time or if I printed the whole document. I spent over half a day trying to get it to work, and finally succeeded - read on.

No surprise that the Panduit TDP43MY printer is really a Zebra printer. I discovered this by accident when I first got the printer. I connected it without first installing the driver and windows asked for a driver for a Zebra printer. Knowing it was a Panduit, I rejected windows offer and installed the Panduit driver. I spent a whole day trying to get it to print correctly and decided I would try windows recommendation of a Zebra driver. I did some digging and discovered it is a Zebra TLP 3842 printer. I removed the Panduit driver and installed the Zebra TLP 3842 driver. The version I have says "Windows driver for ZDesigner TLP 3842 Version 5.1.07.6290 Copyright 2016". I then used LibreOffice Writer to print my labels again. Wonder of wonders it printed with ZERO problems! Yeah for Zebra!

Panduit printer tdp43my wont print

There are lots of possible problems here: printer broken, bad cable to computer, bad roll of ribbon, labels don't match ribbon. I was having problems getting my TDP43MY to print correctly. I ended up removing the Panduit driver for the TDP43MY and installing the Zebra driver for the TLP 3842 instead. Turns out Zebra makes this printer. The Zebra driver worked much better for me. If you think everything else is fine (printer OK, cable OK, etc.) you might try installing the Zebra driver and see if that helps.

Zebra TLP 2844-Z appears to print from the iSeries/AS400 but nothing prints no error message Set up same as other Zebra printers that are working printing bar codes

check the connection configuration (if is com port, check speed, flow control and others)
Try to install locally with segull drivers (www.seagullscientific.com) if you need, reset to factory defult. print a test label from the driver. if is comunicate, is not printer problem, is connection problem with your software.

Manual calibration of the printer is not working

TLP does not support the notched labels bcoz the sensor is in the center.. TLP can detect labels with GAP/BLACKMARK and Center Hole
