have you checked your bios settings? check there if you can disable your internall VGA card and only use your NVIDIA GeForce.
When you start your computer start BIOS to press DEL or F2 or F10 or F12, depends on your computer model and manufacture.
You can always download the latest drivers from Nvidia at www.nvidia.com. Click the "download drivers" tab at the top of the page and fill in the information about your card. This way you'll have the newest software.
