There are two things that could be wrong.. Battle Bears is a memory-heavy game, so it would be good to close ALL other apps running (double-click home button, hold finger on any app that pops up, wait for it to wiggle, and press the red minus to close any unneeded apps). If your iPod is of an older generation, it might not be capable to run the app. There might be bug in the game, and if there is no update available, the only thing you can do is wait for a new update to come out.

When I click on the Mail icon on my ipod touch, I just get a black screen. My touch is 18 months old and I've always been able to retrieve my mail no problem. Any ideas?

The problem could be the Mail application or the email account itself. I searched this problem but it seems that this is NOT a common issue.

First, you may want to try delete the email account from the iPod Touch and re-create it. However, you need to check first the web mail to see if you have the copy of the messages on the web server itself.

If you setup a POP account on your iPod Touch for your email, then the messages could have been deleted after the iPod downloaded the messages. If you have the messages, then go ahead and delete and re-create the email account.

If same problem occur, then it's the Mail application. You need to send your iPod Touch to the Apple Store near you, so that they could reload or re-install the application to your iPod.

Thank you and good luck!
